The West Central Georgia Black Chamber of Commerce proudly honors its ten founding members as Charter Members. These distinguished individuals played a pivotal role in the formation of the chamber and are recognized for their early leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to advancing economic and community development across our region. Their contributions have laid the foundation for our mission and will continue to inspire generations of entrepreneurs and leaders.
The chamber's charter members envisioned a regional chamber that would
not only advocate for economic justice but also build sustainable pipelines to business education,
capital, and procurement. Since its inception, WCGBC has organized impactful programming,
including expos, summits, and financial workshops. It has also fostered vital
partnerships with state agencies, corporations, community development financial institutions
, and local stakeholders. WCGBC continues to grow as a trusted voice and resource for small and minority-owned
businesses in the West Central Georgia region.
