WCGBC Launches Financial Readiness Workshops & Small Business Resilience Grant Program!
WCGBC has been selected as a recipient of the Small Business Resilience (SBR) Grant through Governor Brian Kemp’s statewide initiative to strengthen small businesses across Georgia. This grant allows us to provide free, high-impact programming to help small businesses grow, stabilize, and succeed—right here in our region.
This initiative is designed to uplift and empower small businesses that continue to feel the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding opportunity is part of our ongoing commitment to economic recovery, resilience, and equity among Black-owned and minority-owned businesses. This grant is not just financial support, but an investment in our community's long-term success.
As part of this incredible opportunity, we are proud to introduce our Smart Money Financial Readiness Workshop Series, launching this month. These workshops will offer vital education on business insurance, managing cash flow, recordkeeping, and how to become bank-ready for loans or grants.
